Headliners Sergio Marciano's Latin Bridge are a vocal and instrumental Latin / Cuban project created by the experienced musician Sergio Marciano Pereda. The band are always in a “Latin Key”, and showcase a traditional acoustic sound. Pereda was born in Santiago de Cuba in 1965. A member of the Nueva Trova since 1983 and the famous "Grupo Muralla" with which he made his first international tour in 1985, he moved to Havana in 1989 and there began his musical studies at the "Ignacio Cervantes" conservatory, specialising in percussion.
In Havana Sergio was part of several groups, before in 2002 arriving in Spain where he lived for more than 12 years, playing, touring and recording with Stradivarius Orchestra, Ximo Tebar Band, Sonora Latina, Guachiguara, Quinteto Diapasón, T3s de Azúcar. Since moving to the U.K in 2014 he continues to actively participate in the Latin scene. He has performed in groups such as Kandela mi Son, Son de Cuba, “Son Yambú" and Los Amigos, playing in hundreds of concerts and festival tours in more than 25 countries around the world, and since 2016 has led his own band, The Latin Bridge.
In support, Bia Lética is a Brazilian singer & songwriter who lives in France. She invites us to travel through her inner poetic worlds in the company of her guitar, percussions, and a looper. Tonight she'll be celebrating the release of her second single, 'Sempre Agora', bringing the Brazilian percussionist Pazsarinha as a special guest.
