SATURDAY LOOKS GOOD TO ME: Indiepop? Motown? Songs about supercool, out of reach, distracted women that sound like Jonathan Richman under the tutelage of Berry Gordy? That riff from the Vandellas' "Ready For Love" turned into sleek Belle & Sebastian style dancer? Either Saturday Looks Good To Me have died and gone to heaven or we're queuing up for wings and a halo. When we set up our HDIF Presents nights, it was with one unspoken aim: to book Michigan six piece Saturday Looks Good To Me, easily the most exuberant indiepop on the planet at the moment. And, look, here they are. Pinch us, someone. http://www.slgtm.com/ PLUS>>>>>THE RED STARS + SPENCER DE VERE. A "How Does It Feel To Be Loved?" presentation...http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk
