Event information
Almamor – Almamor began as a group of like-minded musicians who crossed paths on the London music circuit. Shortly after forming, the band began working on and recording their first album, "Shelter”.
Unfortunately, following the release of their debut album, Almamor's founding drummer, Nash, had to return to his native Greece. Almamor continued gigging, writing new music and survived COVID with several lineup changes, until eventually finding a new drummer late 2023. Now the band are looking forward to continue playing live, write and record new material, and perform to everyone willing to embrace the experimental sound of Almamor!
Professional – tore us a new one last time around, with their frenetic pop punk, featuring short sharp tunes with rousing choruses, and a vocalist who sounds like an unhinged Pete Shelley, just as we like our head Buzzcock.
Shop Girls – classy and indeed, class… Beach Boys harmonies thru some Monkees meets Teenage Fanclub/Pooh Sticks type joyous and artful indie fare. Very nice. And another great band from that hotbed of creation, Wales.
Smack Boys – new project from Alex of Jacoby/Adrenaline Animals and co.
DJ Black Feather nices up the dancefloor til late.
