Deep-rooted in a lifetime love of traditional music, The Wilderness Yet continue to grow with the seasons as they explore the many branches of song from the British Isles. With their “simply exquisite” three-part harmonies (BBC R6 Music), and their “satisfyingly rich instrumentals” (The Living Tradition), they have gained a cult following since their debut album was released to critical acclaim in 2020. Featuring singer Rosie Hodgson, fiddler Rowan Piggott, and guitarist Ben Filmer-Sankey, they twine traditional material with their own “precisely observed, poetic, nature-centric songwriting” (Tyke Stirrings). Drawing heavily on people’s connection with the environment, you can be swept away by a Wild Northeaster only to be charmed again by The Beauties of Autumn!
“A timeless and heady mix of traditions… from three musicians at the top of their game."
– Folk Radio UK
“This trio has it all... bright new music & fresh interpretations of old songs.”
– Irish Music Magazine
