Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons – seem like an inordinately long time since PATDJ last graced our stage, but it’s bloody marvellous to announce they’ve come back for more. It’s always a marriage made in Heaven…the cranked up punk grunge-abilly mayhem of Dirty Jake and Puss’s guitars, the skittering riddims and bombastic beat of drummer Ant, and the fierce feline yelp and howl of the righteous anger of Puss on vox, not to mention her high energy physical expression, and fearless forays into the crowd. And all in the Mojo riddled environs of The Dublin Castle back room. What’s not to adore?

The Tropic Trio – JF Whitney (The Flaming Stars/The Urban Voodoo Machine and very many others) in his long term Bizarre Trash Exotica project with co-writer She Rocola (Minxus/The Charity Case) on vocals & bass with Erg Meister (Oh! Gunquit and many very others) guesting on drums. The Tropics have had many ventures on London & festival stages over the last 25 years, with releases on Kooky, Jazzman, Sexton Ming’s Rim Records and a curious cover of Diana Ross’ “Upside Down” curated by the late great Andrew Weatherall for his Soma label. And their version of Poptones by Public Image Ltd was enthused over by the equally late and great Keith Levene too.. “Absolutely crazed but beautiful” The Village Voice “Ace” NME “Jazzy, quirky and thoroughly bohemian” Penny Rimbaud…

Daniel Jeanrenaud AKA The Camden Cat – what a marvellous thing, to have Daniel J on tonite’s bill. A regular feature for Camdenites in a daze gone by discombulation situation in a late night haunt long gone but possibly now called Snickers in a parallel universe…this rockabilly Cat cum Kingsnake was the proponent of a delicious soundtrack to many a non existent kebab and disco biscuit and late beer meal back in the as they say day. Superb.

Lean – young punk rock three piece giving large swathes of ramalama a right hormonal seeing to. Cracking stuff.
