Bio

Joe Doonan is an established, Yorkshire based singer-songwriter - performing regularly across the UK and Europe, Joe is rapidly building a reputation for his ability to connect with people through his honest, emotive lyrics and memorable melodies. Joe recently released some of his best work to date, having been under the mentorship of a number of multi-platinum selling and Emmy Award winning song-writers from across the globe. These included the likes of Paddy Byrne (Tom Grennon, Paoloma Faith); Paul Statham (Dido, Matt Cardle, Simple minds); Shelly Poole (Jack Savoretti, Gary Barlow, Janet Jackson) and Rob Wells (Adam Lambert, Ariana Grande). Joe recently released his singles ‘On My Mind’ and ‘Jaybird’ – the former beating thousands of submissions to reach the semi-final stage of Nashville’s well renowned ‘International Song-writing Competition’. He continues to receive wide recognition for his work, having recently been awarded a slot at Liverpool’s Official Eurovision Festival - ‘Eurofest’.

Having performed to a number of sell-out audiences across the UK, Joe is beginning 2024 with his first headline tour of Australia, before returning to Lynne’s Live Lounge on 30th June - joined by his band of talented vocal and multi-instrumentalists.
