Award winning poet & author Chloe Hanks presents a workshop on writing at 4pm, followed by readings from her collection "Adultress" at 6pm
With a focus on female villainy and absolving female archetypes from the patriarchal lens, Hanks' work provokes modern feminism and seeks to defend the woman's right to be unpleasant. Her first full collection, I Call Upon the Witches, was published in 2022.
She currently holds an Master of Arts with Distinction from the University of Birmingham and is undertaking her PhD studies with York St John University researching creative responses to the archive
