A night of stand-up comedy with some of the UK's best standup comedians at The railway Inn, Botley, Hampshire.
Farhan Solo stand up comic comes to Botley

Farhan started comedy in late 2019 and has already started making waves in London’s comedy scene. He was the first ever winner of the Top Secret comedy club gong show and has performed at Pro comedy nights all over the country. He has also taken part in the Desi Central events tour “ the Muslims are coming” performing in theatres. He was also a finalist in So you think you’re funny? 2021.

He was recently featured as a part of Channel 4’s “ Only Jokes a Muslim can tell” He skilfully navigates universally relatable topics such as race, religion, politics, family and dating - all through the eyes of an eccentric millennial Muslim.

Ali Woods

The half-English, half-Scottish Londoner, Ali Woods is a thrilling new stand up comedian, podcaster and content creator is coming to Southampton. He is quickly rising in the UK comedian circuit, having won Hackney Empire New Act of the Year 2020 and sold out his first run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022, receiving multiple five-star reviews.

Ali Woods is a refreshing blend of the 'every man' and the 'modern man'. His genuine interest in men's mental health and sensitivity provide him with a unique perspective on the prevalent modern 'lad' culture, which frequently becomes a theme in his comedy. Ali skilfully combines comedy with heartfelt moments, tackling subjects such as football, the environment, and various social causes that hold a special place in his heart.

Ali has appeared on BBC Radio 4, TalkRadio, TalkSport and hosts his own podcast All I Do Is Fail. He has also written sketches for BBC Three, and was the opening act for Russel Kane when on tour. Vinny Shiu

Vinny Shiu is a stand up comedian who combines comedy songs with stories and jokes to highlight his unique upbringing; growing up in the West, as part of an Asian family.

Vinny believes that comedy is not only about sharp jokes but also about giving audiences a performance. His style is immersive, physical and dynamic. He is the winner of Southampton comedian of the year 2023 and was a semi-finalist in British comedian of the year 2023.

Shazza B

Shazza’s savage outlook on life, her ageing body and farcical fantasies make for both a hilarious and enlightening comedy experience.

Billy James

Billy James is swiftly making a name for himself on the Southern comedy circuit. Having started out in January 2022 he’s already made the final of numerous national new act competitions, and has supported big names such as Simon Brodkin, Mark Simmons and Geoff Norcott.

He’s got gags, stories and observations all of which are delivered with lovable, self deprecating charm.

Geordie Geoff, born and raised in the Northeast, is excited to bring his unique style of comedy. With a reputation as a nice guy, he quickly puts his audience at ease through a laid-back and interactive approach to stand-up. No two performances are the same: Geoff leaves people yearning for more with his famous crowd work, always keeping the audience at the centre of his set.

Known for his perceptive descriptions, laser dot humour, and "say it like it is" attitude, Geoff is brutally funny. The front row becomes his playground, and its occupants become his closest friends.

Geoff started his comedy journey at the Edinburgh Fringe and has recently provided support for renowned comedians like Michael Hackett, Steve Hughes, and Martin Westgate. Additionally, he is an established MC, having hosted Mark Simmons, Ben Norris, Dinesh Ranganathan, and Jack Skipper.
