The Saltdean Jazz Band (SJB) was set up four years ago for musicians who would like to take part in a fun and inclusive organisation aimed at getting people together to play music – at all levels.

The emphasis is having fun and bringing the community together which includes supporting local events and charities with live performances.

We are delighted to be making our debut at The Brunswick in Hove on Thursday, March 21 st and are looking forward to plenty of support and meeting new people.

All levels of player are welcome so if you play an instrument and would like to join us, please get in touch. There are no auditions – and there will be plenty of opportunities to learn as you go along.

While we will feature jazz, Blues and swing numbers, we play a variety of music that suits the abilities of the players so we can build up a truly entertaining repertoire.
