Johnny traves his rock'n'roll bloodline from Johnny B Goode to Little Johnny Jewel. The Bo Diddley Guitar-slinger Gene is within him! Johnny and his band the Elevated States are a Street Outreach Programme designed to connect with Septuagenarian skiffle Queens and 4-year old movers'n'groovers who dig a primitive beat!

They have shuffled, slapped, strummed, and stroked on sidewalks alongside Willy & The Poor Boys. And they sing and they swing! Woody Guthrie was right - folk songs are coming in...and Elevated States are possible!

Formed in the shadows of the pandemic, busking slide guitarist Hugh Blue Jones assembled this frenetic five piece blues band to bring high energy blues, soul, and rock n roll to dancing sweaty audiences who need to blow off some steam and get caught up in good time. They play a brilliant blend of original songs and timeless classics.
