Adrian's new collection 'A Sheffield Traipsing' is the fruit of years of work. He set himself the challenge to 'speak out about my city in my ready Northern tongue and make a simple solid vow to tell your stories with the honesty I got from you.' This was in his 2010 in his first collection. He now delivers on that challenge with this new book which this evening will launch and celebrate. With music from Dusk Over Rivelin, the band that formed both to accompany the poems and is now becoming a song-writing quartet. This will be a great night in an iconic museum, in an iconic place. The Sunday Times names Kelham Island one of the best places to live in the UK after having been named one of the 51 coolest neighbourhoods in the world by TimeOut last year. There is good parking and drinks can be purchased at the Millowners Arms on site. Ticket price £5 that will be redeemable against the purchase of the book.
