The Curst Sons are proud to present their latest album - New Signs and Old Visions.

This is the 9th release from roots stompers The Curst Sons, and shows the “boys” still weaving an idiosyncratic course between various traditional American Genres, even somehow inventing Ska-billy! Never really comfortable in a formal studio setting, the band decided to relax into some longer sessions and allow the songs to develop more organically. With no click-tracks or blueprint the result is an enthralling set of quirky new songs, featuring the usual deft musicianship and intelligent lyrics. This feels like of a group of old friends with folk heritage ingrained under their fingernails having fun together making some great new music.

The album will be available on the night in vinyl, CD format or can be download from The Curst Sons website from August the 9th.

The Curst Sons have been performing their original roots-influenced music since 1998. They have played far too many pubs, clubs and festivals to remember, twice been Time Out magazine’s critics’ choice and recorded two live sessions for the much-missed Mark Lamarr show on BBC Radio

They have released six studio albums, one 10” vinyl EP and a live digital EP. Their first ever single SHINE a SMILE was released on January 2024, and its follow up, In a Sea of Same in May 2024. Both are found on the new album.

They are supported by Richard Jayson singing country ballads and folk hymns.
