Night River Presents: Lavinia Blackwall

A magically intimate micro concert featuring Lavinia Blackwall appearing as a duo with Marco Rea, hosted by DG Solaris.

Lavinia Blackwall, folk power pop songwriter is well known for her previous work in Trembling Bells, who released seven albums, all met with critical acclaim. She has also worked as a performer and arranger with Bonnie Prince Billy and Mike Heron.

Her debut album ‘Muggington Lane End’ was universally well received, earning excellent reviews from publications as diverse as Rolling Stone France, Shindig!, RnR, The Financial Times, Uncut, Moof Mag, The Scotsman, and online editions, Backseat Mafia, Spectrum Culture, and Line Of Best Fit.

Lavinia continues to work on her second solo album, a rich tapestry of lyrical melodies and beautifully arranged song smithery ably accompanied by ‘Stilton’ the talents of Marco Rea (The Wellgreen, Euros Childs) Jim McGoldrick (The Wellgreen) and Seb Jonsen (Helicon and The Tomorrow Syndicate).

Alex Rex will be supporting, former Trembling Bells honcho, debuting a brand new solo acoustic set. Very excited!

This is a rare opportunity to see Lavinia and Alex perform a stripped back show. Only 30 seats available.
