Professional vocal ensemble Recordare and renowned period instrumental ensemble Endelienta Baroque join forces for the first time in a programme of German, 17th Century funeral and Passiontide music.
Featuring Heinrich Schütz’s little known and tragically under-appreciated Muzikalische Exequien alongside famous motets by J.S. Bach and Johann Hermann Schein, this is sure to be a poignant evening complete with stunning musical invention - the perfect, reflective way to begin Holy Week’s path to Easter.
