Decor & Clerkenville East-West present Green On Red legend Dan Stuart and Tom Heyman. An intimate evening of music in the company of two master songwriters.
Dan Stuart returns to the UK to perform songs from across his solo and Green On Red catalogue. Dan is a musician and author, living in Tucson, Arizona, who was the leader of Green On Red, a band associated with LA's Paisley Underground of the 1980s and the beginning of the so called Americana/ alt.country movement. His comeback solo record in 2012 had the same title as his 2014 false memoir: The Deliverance of Marlowe Billings. After moving to Oaxaca, Dan recorded the follow up, Marlowe's Revenge, with Mexico City's premier garage/surf rockers Twin Tones. The Marlowe trilogy concluded with 2018's acclaimed The Unfortunate Demise of Marlowe Billings, awarded Americana album of the month in Uncut magazine.

Tom Heyman
US singer songwriter Tom Heyman (formerly of Philly's Go To Blazes) will be presenting his new concept record “24th Street Blues”, about the endangered culture and living ghosts of San Francisco's Mission District. Heyman's intention was to create a sound that combined the loose, late night, low down groove of JJ Cale with the bittersweet melancholia of late period Nick Lowe and the melodic storytelling of his hero Gordon Lightfoot. The record was written mostly at night, after long bar shifts, and is an examination of the loneliness and alienation of a city in flux, and the true cost of love. Heyman has spent years performing with Hiss Golden Messenger, Chuck Prophet, Alejandro Escovedo, John Doe, and a host of others.
