Ruth Theodore has just signed an exciting record deal with Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe Records in the USA and is off on tour there for the foreseeable, but before she goes, to celebrate the release of her highly anticipated 5th studio record Ruth and her knock out band are back on the road in the UK in April-May.
Theodore has assembled another exciting line-up of talented musicians for this launch tour. Notably amongst them is award winning zimbabwean bassist Edith Weutonga.
This time they perform the new album which is the fruits of her further collaborations with Grammy and Tony award winning bassist/producer Todd Sickafoose and Swiss American percussion virtuoso Mathias Kunzli, recorded in upstate New York by Eli Crews (Tune Yards).
