By the age of 14 Thomas 'Spats' Langham was already playing banjo and guitar with the Hot Spa Stompers and the Ged Hones Dixie Boys. With the loss of the outstanding pianist Keith Nichols, in 2021, these 'Five Nickels' musicians have come together to keep his memory and music alive with jazz from the 20s and 30s. The band features 'Spats' Langham on guitars/banjos, Rico Tomasso on trumpet, Martin Litton on piano, Trevor Whiting on reeds and Richard Pite on tuba, bass and drums.
