OWL LIGHT TRIO are delighted to launch their second album at this home-town gig. ‘Sound into Light’ features both their own compositions and traditional tunes from England, Ireland and Brittany, all arranged in the trio’s distinctive and expressive style.
They are Jim Penny on concertina, Jane Griffiths on fiddle and viola and Colin Fletcher on guitar. All three musicians have deep roots in traditional music and draw upon their combined influences to create complex, compelling and heartfelt arrangements.

XOGARA are an Anglo-Welsh-Galician multi-instrumental four-piece playing their only UK show of 2024. Featuring the sublime singing of Siriol Davies, the versatile guitar of John Ruddock, plus returning Oxford legends Jo Hamilton (sax, flute, whistles) and Mano Panforreteiro (gaita, whistles, percussion), Xogara create a joyous sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and still entirely their own.
