Celebrating both the opening of the festival and the inaugural performance at the newly refurbished Barn at Chawton House, this vibrant and entertaining performance led by Anna Sideris and Béatrice Dupuy will engage seasoned opera-goers and newcomers alike
Anna Sideris is a lyric coloratura soprano working on the opera stage and recital platform, recognized for her dramatically engaging performances and richness of tone. "The rich layers of Anna Sideris’ appealing lyric soprano, conveyed sensual sauciness and flashed with feistiness…” (Claire Seymour, Opera Magazine).
Béatrice Dupuy is a mezzo-soprano in demand across France and Europe, regularly performing in festivals and on the stage including at Théâtre du Châtelet, Théâtre de l’Athénée and Opéra National de Paris.
7pm: Doors open, refreshments available
8pm: Performance start (unreserved seating)
Parking is available in a dedicated area on Gosport Road.
