Whether with Alexis Korner and Stan Tracey in the 1960s and 1970s, purveying his own vibrant projects or as tonight, saluting a musical hero, he remains as brilliant and inimitable as ever. With Chris Ingham (piano), Malcolm Creese (bass) and George Double (drums).
