Carnivalesque presents Halloweenesque: Carnival of the Dead

This month Carnivalesque returns to bewitch Coalition with our anarchic Halloweenesque Carnival of the Dead!

Once again a live experience with the spirit of carnival reborn to freak, stomp and cast a spell of good vibes on all you beautiful party animals.

Headlining this spooky fun packed event will be two of Brighton's finest: Los Piratas play a unique blend of Latin Roots based tunes, and the Funky Ska outfit Brownstar. Both bands will raise the dead and the roof making all you ghosts and ghouls jump, wiggle and rave.

There will also be DJ sets from Equal-i, DJ Ghecko from global beets, Resident DJs and many more Afro grooves, Balkan breaks, Reggae, Tech beats and Soulful Funkiness. The club will be fitted with full carnival décor with live performances and cake throughout the night.

LOS PIRATAS
Pirates in the truest sense of the word Los Piratas take little bits of a variety of genres, hooks, lyrics, everything musically you can think and combine them dazzlingy in a fusion of Latin Roots based goodness.
Heavily influenced by Brazilian Forrò & Colombian Vallenato. This five piece outfit are something not to be missed.

BROWNSTAR
Brownstar the funk and ska outfit based in Brighton are one of Carnivalesque's favourite headliners. Having wowed many Carinvalesque goers many times over. Fresh from recently releasing their debut album The Whatevers, they are ready to rock Halloweenesque by storm.
Brownstar proclaim that the sound is like 'Donna Summer, Fank Zappa and Prince fighting in a funky blender.' Nuff said!
