Anne O'Brien is an international best-selling author of historical novels. She will speak about her approach to writing and how she brings to life medieval women for her novels. Her latest novel, "A Court of Betrayal", published in Feb 2024, is set in the Welsh Marches in 1301 and focuses on strong-willed heiress Johane de Geneville and her marriage to Richard Mortimer, Earl of March… a distinctly local connection.
Anne's novels will be available to purchase at the event and be signed by the author.
