Thornton Hough Village Club presents a night of finest British country music with Matt Hodges plus special guest Sarah Riches.
For over 10 years Matt Hodges has been showing his class and talent on the live music scene in the UK, Europe and US. He released his debut single 'How Could You' in October 2020 and his next three singles, 'Forever With You', 'When We Were Young', and 'Proud To Be Me' all peaked at No 1. on the iTunes Country Charts.
This year started off in great style for Matt when he won the ‘Male Artist of the Year’ title at the 2024 British Country Music Association Awards. He followed this win with a successful U.K. headline tour in March.
2024 is looking to be his most successful year yet.

Sarah Riches is a Staffordshire-based singer-songwriter and recording artist.Sarah writes with versatility and empathy with themes that are both relatable and timeless. Her smooth melodic vocals often remind her listeners of Olivia Newton John.
Her latest album “I Don’t Give Up Easily” contains 10 original country songs varying in mood from upbeat country to bluesy reflection. It was recorded in Nashville in April 2022 by legendary producer Fred Mollin, whose prolific career in the music industry includes productions with Jimmy Webb, Kris Kristofferson, Lamont Dozier, Billy Ray Cyrus, BB King, Johnny Mathis, JD Souther, Kristin Chenoweth and UK artists Rumer and Jo Harman.
