Helen McCookerybook was founder member of the bands The Chefs and Helen and the Horns, both of which recorded numerous sessions for John Peel, and released material on independent labels. Now a solo artist, she gigs in the UK, Europe and beyond and features regularly on BBC6 music.

Rachel Lowrie takes inspiration from local stories and her own life. Her songs reflect her deep relationship with the Medway Towns in which she grew up and explore a particularly feminine perspective on well-being, motherhood and a sense of home.
