Event information

This ride will explore a number of cycle paths from Queens Park, Chesterfield out to Avenue Works. Hear about the transformation of the Works site from heavy industry to a nature reserve and then stop at the bird hides for a short break.
Option to return via Grassmoor country park and back via Hasland.
This ride has a short steep hill to get into Avenue Works on a stony gravel surface. The paths in the Avenue works are stony gravel. Suitable for all bikes. Ridden at a slow pace.
If we extend the route to Grassmoor Country Park there is a short steep hill up a tarmac road and then a gentle tarmac climb towards Hasland before dropping back into Chesterfield
Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.
