Now onto its fifth edition, Refugee Tales presents the anonymous accounts of individuals who have direct experience of Britain’s policy of indefinite immigration detention. These stories have been retold by writers as modern day counterparts to the pilgrims’ stories in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, offering rare, intimate glimpses into otherwise untold suffering. During this discussion, you'll hear from writers involved in Refugee Tales V along with someone with lived experience of detention, as they talk about and read from the latest collection.
