About Mohand and Peter
"You know Peter, when I close my eyes I can see my country. I can see my village. I can see my people..." A backflip in time, a quick hop back home, with humour and visual poetry Mohand & Peter take you on a road trip through Sudan.
The two brave clowns bounce on one of the toughest international news of the decade and fight horror with laughter to build a magnificent pedestal for Mohand's home country.
★★★★ "A genial two-hander.” - The Stage
★★★★★ "Tonight I laughed, I learned, I travelled.” - Centre Stage Reviews
“A triumph. One of the funniest things I’ve seen this year.” - There Ought To Be Clowns
About HomeScreen
HomeScreen is a green screen video installation created by actor-filmmaker Reuben Williams and PSYCHEdelight Theatre Company of Sanctuary.
It’s an initiative that gives people who were forced to flee their countries a chance to make a short film where they feature in their homeland, or wherever they would like to travel to in the world. Homescreen brings freedom of movement back to people who are deprived of it.
These short films are an opportunity to celebrate and show others the places that, people who were forced to migrate, cherish but can not return to. Last year, thanks to the Migration Matters Festival, we hosted twelve participants with experience of forced migration and created nine short films representing countries from around the world.
This year, we are excited to present the films during the festival and welcome the people who participated in the project to share their experiences with Migration Matters' audiences, through a discussion after the screening.
