Sexy Chocolate Promotions back with you for our summer party and welcome back Tenacious from last years birthday party, along side someone we've been wanting to bring to the party, legend that is Charlie C. Support from our residents DJ/Producer, Lee Davey-Brown and Co-Creator, DJ Stuart Peeters and newly added Sookers on the bongos.
Tenacious Bio:
Tenacious is a trio of House Music DJ/Producers consisting of Dave Reeves, Steve Reeves, and Lewis Belliss. Based in London, England, they have gained popularity through their Radio Show, which airs every Saturday night on CentreForce Radio 883 DAB & Online. Known for playing the finest Underground House Music, Tenacious welcomes promo's and exclusives for their show at tenaciousmusicuk@gmail.com.
In recent years, Tenacious has made regular appearances at some of the UK's top House Music Events & Festivals. These include Housework at Egg London, Clockwork Orange at Fabric London, We are FSTVL, SYN Fest, House & Classics Festival, We R Fest, Stash Records Event, Bring The House Down, Luvism, My House at XOYO London, New World Festival, Clockstock at Chelmsford Racecourse, Dirty Stereo at Egg London, Alfresco Festival, BOB Fest, Oh So Sexy, Rush, FNUK, Gratitude Music Festival, and more. They have also performed internationally in Ibiza, Corfu, and Boston, USA.
Tenacious's journey began in 1998 when Dave, along with his younger brother Steve and close friend Lewis, set up a recording studio and started making music. Initially exploring Trance, they achieved some success under the name 'Aptness'. Their track 'The Answer', signed by Graham Gold to his Good as label, became one of Judge Jules's favorite tracks of 1998 on Radio 1 and Graham Gold's 'Kicking Cut' on Kiss 100FM. 'The Answer' was featured on various mix albums, including Ministry's 'Clubbers Guide to 99' and Trance Nation 2, as well as a Playstation Fifa Football game. They also did remixes, including DJ Tiesto's 'Theme from Norefjell' on Blackhole Records.
In 2013, Tenacious decided to shift their focus as the dance music scene evolved and Trance became more commercial. They embraced a new direction, specializing in Underground House Music and energetic Bass Driven Tech House. Since then, Tenacious has released music on esteemed independent dance labels such as PP Music, Hotfingers, Jeepers, Subteranneo, Influential House, Onefold DGTL, Summerized Sessions, Whorehouse Records, and more. Their recent releases can be found on Ultra Music, Revoke, Traded Music, Stash Records, Automation Nation, Phonetic Recordings, Freakin909, Cheeky Trax, New State Music, Criminal Hype, Kidology, Kukushka, and others.
Charlie C Bio:
DJ Charlie C is an international DJ who has been lucky enough to DJ all over the world & UK for the last 35 years including countries such as the USA, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Russia, Ibiza, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Spain, Germany & Portugal to name but a few. I have had an amazing time DJing with DJ's such as Carl Cox, Fat Boy Slim, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke, Sasha, Nick Fanciulli, Pete Tong, Faithless, Judge Jules, Tall Paul, Boy George, Jeremy Healy, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Anne Savage, Alex P , Brandon Block, Eddie Halliwell, Masters at work and so many more......
I have my own night called CHARLIE'S CHURCH which has been going for over 20 years which i have taken to many clubs and super trendy bars across the UK
Sookers Bio:
Mark Sookermany “Sookers” played bongos around the London club scene in the early 90’s before moving to Brazil where he honed his skills playing along to House DJ’s in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.???????
Now living in Folkestone, Sookers has been bringing his percussion energy to the local scene which has included sets with Disco Departures, Destination and now Sexy Chocolate!
Main event is from 9pm until 2am
Promises to be a memorable night that you won't want to miss, at the venue we love, The Chambers in Folkestone.
We also have a FREE PRE-PARTY hosted by Destination in The Chambers Coffee Shop from 6pm until 10pm - DJ's Steve Goddard, Jamie Bennett and Jak Mayhem
