Passionate music and dance from ‘The Cradle of Flamenco’ will infuse Ashburton this September, thanks to a return visit by this troupe of authentic gypsy performers. Lola Flamenco is returning to the Arts Centre with their brand of fiery Spanish dance and song from their home in Southern Spain. The troupe of dancers, singers and their incredible guitarist accompanist will scorch audiences with the flames of Andalusian passion and the pulsing rhythms of Spanish guitar, clapping and incredible footwork.

Authentic artistry from the heart of Flamenco-country
Lola Flamenco hails from Jerez de la Frontera — the heart of ‘gitano’ (gypsy) flamenco country.
The show they bring is a passionate performance of song, dance and incredible guitar that will leave audiences sizzling in their seats. The show features authentic music and dance routines passed down from family to family over many generations, with costume changes that ensure the performance is a feast for the eyes AND the ears.

Lola has performed at various places within the UK – including at Glastonbury Festival – and invariably the high-octane experience has resulted in a standing ovation at the climax of every one of their scintillating shows. Expect hot flamenco that moves your soul…

Flamenco Dance Workshop: Sunday 29 Sept, 11am – 1pm
Members of Lola Flamenco will teach you to dance flamenco – no experience necessary (though experienced flamenco dancers are welcome). Book here
