Laugh Cry Comedy Club brings you an amazing experience of live comedy with the legendary Mark Thomas along with London's best up and coming comedians.
Comedy legend Mark Thomas comes to Finchley with his 35 years of comedy experience, 6 series on Channel 4 and 5 series of Manifesto on Radio 4. He’s won 8 awards for performing, 3 for human rights and 1 he invented for himself. Jokes, rants, politics, play and the occasional sing song.
If you don’t know what he does ask your parents.
In his time he has won awards (current total is now officially ‘fuckloads’), forced a politician to resign, changed laws on tax and protest, become Guinness Book of Records world record holder for number of protests in 24 hours, taken the police to court 3 times and won, walked the length of the Israeli Wall in the West Bank and generally mucked about trying to have fun and fuck the right people off. This show is more of the above.
Courtney Cornfield, Funny Women Semi Finalist. Seasoned improviser and Loose Moose Alumni. She's a warm witty Canadian landed in the UK sharing her musings as she glides …no walks …..actually stumbles through life. Accidentally middle class intentionally divorced with a sprinkling of neurodiversity.
Andrew Coleman is an award-winning comedian delivering witty one-liners and high-energy stories. Winner of The Blackout at UTC Comedy Club, the INGTE competition 2022 and a Max Turner finalist in 2022.
Usually silly, rarely profound, weirdly tall, Andrew is a resident comedian at Comedy Bandits and regular at The Blackout in Greenwich. His comedy style is endearing and leaves the audience with laughter induced endorphins.
Shruti Sharma performed at the prestigious Soho theatre, Soho Rising Festival 2023. She's a sassy comedian who pushes comedic boundaries between feminism and how much the men in her audience know about the women in their lives. She uses her international experience of having lived in India, France and the UK to make fun of idiosyncratic similarities.
Joe Haddad is a Palestinian comedian from the depths of South London. He'll take you on a 1001 tales
of his upbringing. Where comedy meets therapy. Strap in.
James Pendleton is a Northern Comedian who has been performing on the London comedy circuit for the past 2 years, performing at Backyard, Big Belly and Up the creek. James has been a semi-finalist at the Max Turner Prize Competition.
Parveen Downer, originally from Canada, Parveen blends her brash North American energy with the quintessential British “taking the piss”. She loves observational humour and all things food.
Book your tickets now for this amazing line-up of comedians.
Please note the doors will open at 7pm and you are welcome to enjoy the delicious Thai food served at the pub. However food orders placed after 7.45pm will only be delivered in the break as the show needs to start at 8pm promptly.
