Polly Paulusma plays a stunning show of songs accompanied by Jon Thorne (Lamb, Yorkston Thorne Khan) on upright bass to celebrate the release of her latest album 'Wildfires'.
The musical connection between Paulusma and Thorne is something to behold; together they swoop and glide through songs from all of Paulusma's albums, but especially 'Wildfires' which Thorne also recorded with Paulusma - combining their trademark bawdy humour and anecdotes with deep songs that touch on love, loss grief and philosophical enquiry.

Since her debut ‘Scissors In My Pocket’ in 2004, Polly Paulusma has released five studio albums and five sibling and alterno-albums with Bjork’s label One Little Independent, all straddling the acoustic, singer-songwriter, jazz-inflected indie-folk and trad folk genres. She has supported Bob Dylan, Jamie Cullum, Coldplay, Marianne Faithfull, The Divine Comedy and a host of other notable artists in her 21-year career, she’s toured the USA and Europe as well as the UK, and played Glastonbury, T in the Park and V Festival among many others.
