Event information

SPRING DAY - Exvangelical
As seen on BBC's Live at the Apollo, American transplant Spring Day provides dark comedy for nice people. Spring joined a Christian cult at 13 years old and left 13 years later. She's never talked about it before because she didn't think you heathens would understand. Watch her recount why she joined, and how she escaped a growing fundamentalist Christian community that had become her whole world. Expect one hell of a coming-of-age story about finding faith as Spring explores the nature of cults and the role they play in our everyday lives.

AARON TWITCHEN - Himbo
Dumped during his best friend's wedding, Aaron has decided to laugh it off. 'Hilarious, warm, energetic... Twitchen is a quadruple threat' (Skinny). After making poor choices himself, Aaron hands you control to choose the comedy topics you want. Expect jokes about dating disasters, pop-culture and geriatric millennials in this camp, energetic hour. 'Fierce, fresh and fabulous' (Alesha Dixon). From star of Channel 4's Dumped and host Top 20 Apple charting podcast Pod of the Pops. A show for anyone who has loved, lost or longed for a diamond the size of their fist.

Advance tickets can be reserved online for £8 (plus ticket agent fee) until 7pm on the day of the show. Door price tickets will be £12.

PLEASE NOTE: We are an intimate boutique comedy theatre bar, so TICKET HOLDERS MUST ARRIVE BEFORE 7.45 in order to get your drinks and be seated for the smooth running of the show and everyone's enjoyment. Anyone arriving after 8pm will interrupt the show and may be turned away.

SEATING IS FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVED, so early arrival is recommended. PARTIES OF 3 OR MORE are strongly advised to arrive at 7pm so that you may be seated together.

Fresh hot popcorn, sweets and snacks are available at the bar. We do not accept cash at the bar or box office, CARD PAYMENTS ONLY. Line-ups are subject to change.

We are a woman-owned, gay-friendly, trans-inclusive venue where everyone is welcome. Our comedians are carefully curated to reflect our inclusive principles, and we ask that guests respect the comedians by not interrupting the performances. Hecklers will be removed with no refunds offered. Filming during the show is not permitted.

We have installed a new state-of-the-art ventilation system which delivers 500 litres of fresh air per second, making us one of the best ventilated small venues in the country. We do ask that if you are feeling unwell or test positive for Covid, please stay at home and we will be happy to reschedule your visit up to 3pm on the day of the show.
