Joining us for this year's Estuary Fringe Festival is multi-instrumentalist, composer, session musician and solo ‘avant folk’ artist, Nick Pynn.
Nick has had a diverse career which has included performing in bands and two-handers with Steve Harley, Billy Bragg, (Crazy World of) Arthur Brown, David Thomas (Per Ubu), Kate Daisy Grant and comedians Stewart Lee, Boothby Graffoe and Rich Hall, to playing ‘junk’ instruments as a member of Stomp’s Lost and Found Orchestra, being hoisted up in a cage with 90s girl band B*Witched and most currently, working in theatre.
In solo performance he layers up a live-looped wall of sound, featuring 5 string fiddle, banjos, bass pedals, wine glasses, theremin, dulcimer, saw and more, mostly self made instruments.
