The musical worlds of Classical, Gothic, and Opera have a lot in common, and this candlelit soiree in the beautiful York Cemetery Chapel will bring these similarities to life in awe-inspiring style. Though the theme is melancholy, there will also be joy and euphoria, as sadness and reflection can often be stirring, resolving in a sense of peace and shared experience. We have a wonderful tenor and soprano, we have cello and harp, we have bass guitar and percussion, violin and piano, and a variety of voices and styles of music that will be at once familiar and entirely new. This is a programme of music, in two acts, that will be breathtaking in impact and variety.
Gothic Moth was formed in shadows, but congregates in the light - we so hope you will join us!
