Inkubus Sukkubus are a British Pagan Goth/Folk rock band, based in Gloucestershire, with an international following. The subject matter of their music tends to veer towards the dark and supernatural, exploring witchcraft, magick, folklore, death rites and more.
The Inkies – as they’ve come to be known – were formed in the summer of 1989, and have been releasing albums and touring ever since. To date, they’ve brought out 27 studio albums and performed live in Mexico, USA, Australia, Russia, Turkey, Scandinavia, UK and most of Europe; they have also appeared on national terrestrial television in the UK, Greece, Germany and Finland.
This year sees them celebrating 35 years of continuous writing and performing, as well as the 30th Anniversary of the celebrated Wytches album.
On Saturday, September 14th, the band are returning to one of their favourite haunts, the atmospheric Minsterworth Village Hall on the banks of the River Severn, to bring you more Tales of Witchcraft & Wonder.
Following a successful mini-tour with Inkubus Sukkubus earlier this year, Toadstone will be rejoining the band on their 35th Anniversary celebrations. Evoking forgotten folk rites and eerie supernatural tales, Gloucestershire-based Toadstone take inspiration from their Gloucestershire surroundings to arrive at an unusual and unsettling sound. In 2023, the band released their second full length album, Cernunnos, a nature-driven collective of songs inspired by heritage folk stories.
Tickets are £15 for the evening, or £25 to include camping on site.
