The Saltdean Jazz Band (SJB) was set up four years ago for musicians who would like to take part in a fun and inclusive organisation aimed at getting people together to play music – at all levels.

The emphasis is having fun and bringing the community together which includes supporting local events and charities with live performances.

All levels of player are welcome so if you play an instrument and would like to join them, please get in touch. There are no auditions – and there will be plenty of opportunities to learn as you go along.

While they feature jazz, Blues and swing numbers, they play a variety of music that suits the abilities of the players so they can build up a truly entertaining repertoire.
