Few are funnier than Comedy Store and Frog & Bucket veteran Mick Ferry! Whether he’s running with a scatterbrained idea, an audience suggestion or dipping into his extensive mental files of absolute, top drawer gags and routines, the end result is a barrage of laughter from a very happy audience and that is what we are all about.

Deadpan Brummie Tal Davies was crowned Best Breakthrough Act at the 2021 Midlands Comedy Awards. Since starting out in 2019, Tal’s performed at comedy clubs and festivals all over the UK, and was a Funny Women semi-finalist as well as being shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award. Her comedy writing has been recognised by BBC Writers Room, who invited her to be part of the 2021 Coventry Voices programme, and the strength of her writing can also be seen on stage, as she balances toe-curling anecdotes with dry observational humour.
One of Britain’s funniest and most original comics, Alun Cochrane has popped up on everything from Have I Got News For You to 8 Out Of 10 Cats to Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio show. Expanding life’s more mundane details into eye wettingly funny routine has been his mainstay for many a year. Whether it’s crisp packet opening etiquette or the buddy bench at your kids’ school, Alun has done all the thinking for you. Later years have seen him take on modern life’s more contentious topics but don’t worry, laughter is awlays first and foremost and, if you have been left with a little bit to think about, then all the better.
