“Kitchen Sink Dharma is the debut album by Sulidae. Featuring the superlative songs and poetry of Bobby Motherwell.” Ian Anderson, BBC Radio Scotland
“Sulidae are fronted by poetic wordsmith Bobby Motherwell, whose storytelling skills make him sound like some unholy godchild of Aidan Moffat and Ivor Cutler. A complete delight.” Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
“This album is stunning. Get involved.” Ross Wilson, Blue Rose Code
“…this is a super album… it just blew me away … a beautiful sparseness… take it from me, it is a fabulous album” Ronnie McGhie, Pulse 98.4FM
“…a terrific collection of songs.” Alistair Braidwood, Scots Whay Hae, CamGlen Radio
“…sung with a fine Scots burr, it kind of knocked us out by how good it is”
“…the players are among the cream of the crop when it comes to Scottish players”
“… Motherwell and his troupe weave a quite magical tapestryof songs and sounds”
“… with Motherwell able to capture the pathos of writers such as Louden Wainwright and Richard Thomson… and earthiness of early Gerry Rafferty.”
“… there are two spoken word tracks...like a Ted Hughes poem with a Scottish accent…” Paul Kerr, Blabber ‘n’ Smoke
