Johnny Campbell is a passionate defender of the countryside and promotes ‘the right to roam’ (legal in Scotland but not England). His songs reflect this and the history of northern England – his latest album is entitled ‘True North’. Johnny writes self-penned material and delves deep into Northern English folk song and story.

You may be best accessing the back streets to the west of Hoe Street from Forest Road and then walking through (it’s only pedestrian access from Hoe Street to these CPZs).
