FUTUREPROOF #5 ~ Moonrise Trio

Moonrise Trio, featuring Olivia Murphy on clarinet / soprano saxophone and long term collaborators Becca Wilkins (voice) and Olly Chalk (piano), is a vehicle for exploring smaller scaler compositions, open improvisation and song writing. Upon winning the Jazzlife Alliance Young Composer Award in 2021, the trio was able to record their self-titled EP Moonrise, released on David Lyttle’s Lyte Records in 2022.

About the EP:
'Moonrise is a collection of songs which ventures into a fantastical dreamworld of one night’s sleep. When this world becomes hazed in the daylight, sometimes we find ourselves pining to remember the imagined people and places that have become lost within reality.'
