The Bluenote Project, run by trombonist Nick Mills, presents a homage to the golden era of 60's Bluenote label jazz featuring the seminal works by Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Horace Silver et al. Having started in 2004 (like WOW, now in its 20th year) the band has toured the UK and abroad extensively, always featuring the very best of UK and International artists.
