Event information
We are absolutely delighted to announce that the live entertainment will be provided by the fabulous Sleepy Lagoon Orchestra.
Tickets are priced at just £35 (with discounted early bird tickets available)
The 1930s Coco Club portrays the music, glamour and style as seen in a Fred Astaire - Ginger Rogers film and celebrates the golden age of British Dance Band music, with flavours of Europe and Latin America thrown in. Musical authenticity is paramount and so the 1920s may be ventured into, but nothing is played beyond the year 1939. Style and glamour are bywords for the night, and so white or black tie, evening or cocktail dress are encouraged.
This very friendly evening successfully integrates people of all age groups, and the level of dancing is varied, so anyone can move around the floor just as it suits them.
There are also various eventful period novelty dances that have become firm favourites !
All of the factors combine to provide a truly memorable atmosphere.
Doors open 7.30pm; Carriages 11.30pm. A Licensed bar will be available.
Please note: The Coco Club Tea Dance will again be held in the Bear Hotel Ballroom the following day.
