What A Waste are the UK's most authentic Ian Dury & The Blockheads tribute act brought to you by six totally committed musicians with a love & respect for the music of The Blockheads & the poetry of Ian Dury.

What A Waste’s show is a faithful recreation of the bands live performances during their most successful period, 1977-1980.

During this time the band had a series of top 20 singles, Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick was a UK number 1 & its follow up Reasons to Be Cheerful, Part 3 peaked at number 3. The albums Do It Yourself and New Boots and Panties!! Both went platinum.

What A Waste is a completely live experience, full of the humour, poetry and expert musicianship of one of the UK’s most original, diverse and unique bands.
