It wouldn’t be Christmas without Clyve’s Funky Christmas Show would it? So back for the 11th year, Bath Blue Eyed Soul guy will take the stage with his band at Chapel Arts Centre in Bath.
Over the past decade he has performed in front of thousands all over the UK and USA, creating a brand of neo soul with his new album, whilst keeping the authentic soul sound of the past for the funky specials. His Christmas show is guaranteed to make you dance with songs from the likes of Chic, Chaka Khan, Motown Legends and maybe even a bit of Beyonce.
He co-wrote and performed the Special Olympics Official Anthem “Living Our Dream” at the Opening Ceremony at the iconic Royal Crescent in Bath and has also performed alongside his buddy Gail Porter at the 2018 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony in Scotland, also with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
His album “Blue Eyed Soul”, was recorded in Bath, New York, and then then finished off at Puzzle Maker Studios in Bristol and is getting great reviews and next year he will finally take the “Blue Eyed Soul Tour” around the UK as well as Europe and USA.
Clyve has also been involved in various musical styles over the past decades, fronting Frame By Frame in the 80’s, and in the 90’s, enjoying European Dance chart success with “Painted Moon”. He made his US live debut in 2001 in front of 200,000 in Washington DC and then for a short while dabbled in musical theatre, before starting the Blue Eyed Soul project in 2013.
