On the afternoon of Sunday 27th October we welcome duo Sugarbowl to Joe Joe Jims to take us on a tour of all things Americana with their own alternative twist!

Sugarbowl are an all original, alternative Americana duo, delivering their own take on every conceivable form of American roots music, delivered with a twist of cow punk attitude. From tears in your beers, heart-breaker ballads to rockabilly shuffles, from ska twists to torch songs and twisted tales of the lonesome road to nowhere, nothing gets overlooked in a truly staggering catalogue of original music.

Featuring singer/songwriter/guitarist, Gaz Marson, and guitarist/vocalist Pete Wheatley, the duo brings a lifetime of international touring and performing experience to the fore, delivering a set that is convincing from the get-go, consistently catchy, dripping deliciously with vocal and guitar hooks, ear-worm chorus’s and, ‘can’t help but dance’ grooves. If you’re thinking country music, think again, Sugarbowl break all the rules of traditionalism and bend them into new shapes that never fail to engage: no band required!!!

Tickets are for ‘general admission’ giving you access to any available seating or standing areas. There is no assigned seating, any seating that is available can be taken on a first come first served basis.


Accessibility:

Access to Joe Joe Jims via the front doors is on the level with the frontage and footpath without the need to negotiate any steps or changes in surface height.
