13th Chime formed in 1980 in the small London over-spill town
of Haverhill in Suffolk. Born out of the British Punk scene:
Vocalist Mick Hand, guitarist Gary O'Connor and drummer Ricki
Cook were previously in The Antix while bass player Terry
Taylor, played with the hard hitting three piece The Wynd-ups.
The band released three independent singles: Coffin Maker,
Cursed and Fire, and disbanded circa 1983.
After discovering the three independently produced 7” singles
by the 13th Chime, Caleb Bertron of Sacred Bones Records,
made it his mission to track the band down and released
whatever material they had, on his Brooklyn based record label.
This sparked a renewed interest in the band, which inspired
vocalist Mick Hand to form a new lineup that went on to tour
Europe, the US …and remarkably an evening in St Petersburg,
Russia.
2022 see's 13th Chime back on the road and in the studio. 2022
they have toured LA, played Poland and Germany plus some
UK dates. Spring 2023 takes The Chime on a Mexico mini tour.

The Stereotypes formed in 1979 in Ilford, Essex. They released one EP, ‘Countdown’, played one gig, had a row and split up.
Fast forward to 2015 and Ash is tracked down by Dizzy from Detour Records who tells him that ‘Countdown’ is now the rarest punk single of the era. It’s changing hands for £1,500 and interest in the band is growing.
After press stories in Record Collector and numerous rags, Ash is duly tasked with tracking the original members down. Which he does because he’s annoying like that.
In March 2021, 42 years after their debut single, The Stereotypes released their debut album, ‘ForWard'. There’s new songs and revamped versions of the originals.
They’ve had radio play in the UK, Austria, Belgium, France and the USA and have been interviewed in the UK and the USA several times.
They are still punk, they are still loud, they still have fights and they still love making a racket.
