Cenzontle – Latino folk jazz and sampledelics all done at an introspective low key pace with occasional clubby, dubby fat bottom end bass… I guess these Berlin based Latin collective could be labelled ‘World Music’…whatever you call it it’s cool and interesting stuff for sure.

Bethannie Hare and Robin Banarjee – you may remember Bethannie from Hollyoaks but not only is she a stunning, talented actress, she is also a great singer. Growing up in Leeds, she was surrounded by the sounds of jazz, deeply inspired by the genre’s greats. It’s this early exposure that shaped her passion for the genre, one she’s eager to introduce to a younger audience while bearing the torch for jazz in the modern era. After moving to London in 2022, Bethannie hit the ground running, diving into the city’s music scene and selling out her headline show at Alfie’s Jazz Club. As an artist, she blends the old-school charm of jazz with modern pop elements, creating a style that’s at once timeless and new. Performing carefully chosen covers and fabulous originals alongside former Amy Winehouse guitarist Robin Banarjee tonight, who executed superb six string duties alongside Amy early doors, and always pays homage beautifully to her memory whenever he plays.
