9.15pm about-faces
about-faces catapulted themselves on the music scene in July 2023, and since then have been making waves with their infectious sound and electrifying live performances. Reminiscent of americana, their sound edges towards soft rock coinciding with bittersweet in-your-face sonic architecture, suggestive of their northern background. Poetry stitches their musical cloth, speaking of the future; with purpose in an attempt to regenerate their lost generation.
about-faces caught the attention of Spotify editors and their music resonated with listeners nationwide, after airplay on: BBC Radio 1; Radio X and a month-long residency on Absolute Radio. The band have been backed by BBC Introducing and hailed as ‘Big In 2024’ by This Feeling, accompanying this success, they were added to Tramlines; This Feeling By The Sea at Bridlington Spa, Stockton Calling and Truck Festival. The band supported established acts, Oscar Lang; Sundara Karma; The K’s and The Native.
