Event Information
More than 20 years after the Thurrock Festival of Remembrance ceased, a group of local and regional organisations have come together to bring the event back to life.
This is a FREE TO ATTEND event, but tickets are required to allow us to account for numbers in the audience. There will be a RETIRING COLLECTION in aid of the RBL Poppy Appeal and the local Sea Cadets. Please give generously.
This event is presented by Essex Yeomanry Band, The Tilbury Band and Thurrock Spectrum Brass in conjunction with Southend Boys & Girls Choirs. We are grateful for the support from Port of Tilbury London Ltd., Sea Cadets of the T. S. Dragon, RBL Grays Branch, C2C Rail and EnsignBus for without who’s help this event could not be staged.
