As part of this year's Scalarama festival we'll be screening the 1975 documentary Grey Gardens.
Fancy dress encouraged, raffle prizes a possiblity.
'Edie Beale and her mother Edith, the eccentric yet charismatic relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis invite the Maysles brothers into the eery, surreal universe that exists within their dilapidated East Hampton mansion. Surrounded by clutter and cats, they lament unfulfilled potential, recall former lovers, and yearn in whimsical, offbeat ways.'
